Come join Chess4Life for a week of fun!
Students from kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to join our exciting summer chess camps, as well as our camps during week long school breaks. We offer both standard chess camps and Chess Plus camps, which combine chess and an additional exciting activity.
Our chess camps provide a great place for students to learn the game of chess and have fun in a positive, safe environment supervised by experienced Chess4Life coaches. These instructors regularly challenge students with new opportunities and concepts, and actively model and promote valuable life skills.
Camps are designed with a low student to coach ratio that allows for a more personalized experience in which to teach chess for kids.
All camps utilize the Chess4Life Curriculum created by National Master Elliott Neff and the Chess4Life curriculum development team. Each day campers are encouraged to engage in critical skills and tactics such as opening principles, middle-game tactics, endgame strategies and more.
Students in our camps are taught at their level of understanding and are grouped with other kids of similar ability in order to provide an effective learning opportunity for children of all experience levels.
